Quality Standards for Online Courses (eTech, updated 2007) -- (Word) These standards are used for course reviews as part of the ongoing quality assurance efforts to guarantee best possible courses offered online at FVTC.
Academic Suite Login
FVTC account holders: Use your PeopleSoft user name and password. FVTC instructors, this is the user name and password you use daily to log into the system. Non-FVTC users, please contact Terri or Vicki for account access.

All materials on this site may be downloaded and customized to meet your needs.
Information provided here is based on key questions and requests for assistance initiated by FVTC Internet instructors using Blackboard to deliver online courses and/or support classroom courses. This site is intended for the use of FVTC's Internet instructors and others who take the FVTC Internet Qualification Series and/or Blackboard orientation sessions. It is by no means a comprehensive Blackboard help site, which is located at http://www.blackboard.com.

Academic Suite How-To's
Most standard procedures for managing your course content do not change with the upgrade.
For the Version 6x/Bb Learning System "usual" how-to's, click here: Blackboard Version 6. This is the link to the "old" Internet Instructors' Support Site.
For information on how to work with the new Learning System (which is essentially the old familiar Blackboard Basic) or the Content System (which is brand new)--

Log into into Blackboard Academic Suite and click on the tab called, "My Content." |

Click on "Institution Content." |
|
Open the Internet Instructors' Support Materials folder. |
|
Open the folder that contains the training materials you'd like to review. |
|
Open, review, and if you'd like, download the documents you need. |
"Institution Content" inside the "My Content" tab is where new "how-to" documents and presentations will be stored!
