General Instructions:
- To navigate through the lesson use the Next
and Back navigation arrows located in the bottom right corner of each page.
- You may also skip to specific sections of the lesson by selecting an item from the drop-down menu in the top right corner of the page and clicking
Go.
- To mark the status of your lesson as complete, click the Complete button
in the lower left corner before you exit.
[Note: This action may or may not create a noticeable indication of your lesson status depending on the delivery system used for the course.]
- If you would like to bookmark your location in the lesson, click the Bookmark button
in the lower left corner before you exit.
[Note: This bookmark is different from the Favorites area of your Web browser.]
- For all activities built in Flash, we provide a non-Flash alternative activity. You can use this alternative if you do not have the capabilities to play a Flash movie.
- If you would like to view a Flash activity in a new window, click on the open window icon
placed next to the activity in the lower right corner.
- For complex graphics we provide a descriptive link describing the graphic. A descriptive link looks like this:

- The page numbers on the bottom left indicate what page you are on versus the total number of pages in the lesson.
- The lesson pages themselves may contain buttons and links to access detailed information and specific activities. Follow the instructions provided on those pages.
- Due to varying screen resolution it maybe necessary to use the scroll bar located on the right side of your browser.
- If you are experiencing technical problems, such as Flash components not working properly, refer to the system requirements to ensure that your system is compatible.
