10 Student Study dimensions on the print.
20 Instructor Have Instructor explain how tool holder type effects Bake Rake and End Relief angles. Secure stock from Instructor or purchase HSS blank . *  
25 Grinder Dress the roughing and finishing wheels.
30 Grinder Rough grind the back rake angle as specified.
40 Layout Use a radius gage and layout dye, layout the radius on the tool.
50 Grinder Holding the tool to form front and side relief simultaneously, rough grind in the radius. Be careful not to burn the layout dye off.
60 Grinder Switch to the finer grit wheel and very gently finish grind all surfaces TO ONE FACET.
70 Bench Hone the radius and the burrs from the tool.
80 Bench Inspect tool
90 Instructor Turn in for grading. *
